Which classes should I take if I’m new to Yoga?
Our motto is «don’t be shy»! You’re warmly welcome in all classes. All of our teachers are well equipped to working with yogis and yoginis with various levels of experience in the same class, and to offer posture variations for various levels. Beginners might enjoy Hatha classes or the «Yin Yang» class, but we suggest you try a few different classes – we’re sure you’ll find something right for you. This is easiest to do with the Trial Membership. > To the schedule

I want to start with Yoga but I feel inhibited because I’m really stiff and not a sports person.
You’re only four steps away from your Yoga high! 1) Let go of inhibitions. 2) Stop looking at Instagram pictures with skinny yogis and yoginis in «supposedly» easy contorted looking shapes. 3) Drop by and fill in a registration form or register yourself on MindBody. 4) Stand on your mat.

Do you offer a free Yoga trial class?
Nope. But we have something much better! You can get a Trial Membership for 10 days in a row and try out all the Yoga classes you want. This way you can discover what you like and which classes suit you best. Your 10 day Trial of unlimited Yoga costs only CHF 80. That means that if you come just twice you’ve already saved. What should I bring to my first Yoga class and what should I wear?
You don't need to bring anything except time and curiosity. It's best to wear comfortable sportswear. You don't need shoes, because yoga is practiced barefoot or with socks.
-
Do I always have to sign-up ahead of time online or can I come spontaneously?
We welcome pre-registration via website or via the free MindBody App (for Android and iOS), but you may of course also participate spontaneously. This applies to first-time visitors as well as already registered participants.

My English or German knowledge and understanding is not that great. Can I still go to an English or a German class?
Yes, that’s not a problem. All of our teachers speak both English and German, and when necessary can translate what you need.
-
I suffer from a physical and/or psychological illness. Can I still practice Yoga?
Yes, definitely. The only requirement is to inform the teacher of your wellbeing before each class. It’s important for us to know. Our team will support you in a variety of ways, adjusted to your individual needs and within your abilities.

I’m pregnant and therefore I’m not sure if I should practice Yoga.
In general a Yoga practice can be beneficial during pregnancy. Important is that you inform the teacher before the class about the state of your pregnancy and health (of course in private if you wish). Our teacher team has expereince with pregnant yoginis and can inform you about which asansa and pranayama you should not practice during pregnancy. For pregnant women who want a particularly gentle practice, the following yoga styles are suitable: Yin Yang, Restorative Morning Flow, Slow Flow, Deep Hatha, Hatha, Yin Yang Restorative and Yoga Open. I have my period. Should I come to practice Yoga or not?
Even when you probably don’t really feel like standing on a Yoga mat at this time of the month, a light Yoga practice will do wonders right about now. Your body and mind relax and any pain and discomfort will be put on pause for at least 60 minutes, and probably longer. It’s recommended not to do inversions on the first day or two of menstruation.
