We will start with a short session of gentle movement to release any physical and energetical stagnation which will allow our bodies to be comfortable in the stillness during Yoda Nidra.
We will then dedicate some time to self contemplation and intention setting. This will draw our awareness inward and allow us to then be fully immersed in the expereince of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra or `yogic sleep` is a guided meditation technique that induces a deep state of conscious relaxation between wakefullness and sleep. Practitioners lie down in comfortable position while following the verbal instructions that lead to phsyical, mental, and emotional relaxation. This practice helps reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, improve sleep quality, and balance the nervous system. Regular practice of Yoga Nidra has also been shown to boost creativity, improve emotional resilience and promote overall well-being by calming the mind and rejuvinating the entire system.
Note: Please were comfortable clothing. Do not eat a heavy meal for two hours before, a satisfied belly is optimal, not hungry but not to full ;-)
Level: No experience in yoga or meditation is needed. Everyone is welcome.
